Novelty: MKW success story Laser shower PowerTwin 21+ now with FI-band
A new era begins: Laser therapy with preset laser frequencies in the “Autorun” procedure. Simply use as a shower or comb, set therapy time and the program takes care of the rest. A milestone in low level laser therapy.
Innovating with light – “MKW Lasersystem GmbH” has been a pioneer in laser therapy in veterinary and human medicine for more than three decades. The Baden-Baden-based company has launched trend-setting developments such as laser shower, laser comb, point laser with laser automatic and the multi-acupuncture system on this market.
The laser shower PowerTwin 21+ plays a key role in veterinary medicine: With 21 x 100 mW laser power, this hitherto most successful MKW model achieves one of the highest diode power densities among low-level laser devices on a treatment area of 55 cm². Thus, the therapy time can be significantly shortened and penetrate the laser light deeper into the tissues. In addition, the laser shower turns two laser handles into a laser comb that is treated with the same performance in dense fur.
The right frequency
A technical feature of low-level laser therapy is the pulsed emission of laser light in different frequency series (laser field therapy – directly on the body). The frequency does not “just” point to one point, but builds up a frequency field (e.g., over a body structure such as a joint). For example, various frequencies can be used for pain therapy – a factor that the PowerTwin 21+ has always met with manually adjustable, different frequency ranges.
This method, sometimes referred to as “cumbersome” – e.g. due to the inevitable interruption of therapy before each new frequency input – is now supplemented and improved by an automated software.
In the latest version of the PowerTwin 21+, FI bands (Frequency Integrated) are being used for the first time, with laser frequencies that are required for the respective indication being pre-set. 36.5 Hz / 4.672 Hz (according to NOGIER E / NOGIER E) – 599.5 Hz (according to BAHR 1) – 3894 Hz (according to REININGER) – 5000 Hz (after RIFE) – 174 Hz (acc SOLFEGGIO) for therapeutic use. One after another in auto-run mode, without interruption and as long as this is required by the previously set therapy time.
Bring rest to the treatment
“A practice-oriented and thus elementary improvement, which is particularly well received by veterinarians,” says Mathias Mink, Managing Director at MKW for the PowerTwin 21+ with FI bands. “Especially veterinarians are often dealing with impatient patients. As a therapy without interruptions for new hires on the device protects the nerves of all parties. ”
The method of frequency surface therapy using FI bands can be used as a therapy option in different indications. The following programs are available: regeneration, pain, interference, trauma, inner center, detox, infection, bones and nerves, transcranium, psyche / vegetative, lymph, triggerpoints.
For different findings, special frequency series are available, each developed and intensively tested by the College for Low Level Laser Therapy (www.colll.org).
