Replacement Key Pin for MKW Laser Devices
While each device used to have a different key pin, we have now standardized the design so that our key pin fits all of our soft lasers.
The key pin is a safety feature without which the devices cannot be operated. The laser units can only be activated by inserting the key pin into the proper socket.
When the laser unit is turned off, the key pin is safely stored in the Park socket. To operate the laser, it must be inserted into the Active socket. If the key pin is lost, the unit cannot be operated.
Therefore it is advisable to have a replacement key pin at hand – like a replacement key for one’s own car.
