LASER SHOWERS ARE BROAD-AREA LASERS FOR THE TREATMENT OF LARGE SKIN SURFACES<\/p>\n

Laser therapy denotes the application of low-energy laser light for therapeutic purposes. To avoid any misunderstandings \u2013 and especially confusion with surgical lasers \u2013 today we speak of low-level laser therapy (LLLT), which has also become the standard international term.<\/p>\n

With a laser shower, larger tissue surfaces can be treated in less time, as it emits several laser beams simultaneously and is therefore able to supply extended areas.<\/p>\n

MKW coined the term laser shower in 1987 for its pioneering creation of a laser system that used nine simultaneously active laser diodes. This development made it possible for the first time to use laser therapy to treat extended tissue areas. Since then the term laser shower has often been used to refer to laser units in general that are designed for the therapy of large areas. An alternative term is broad-area lasers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
