HIGH-TECH ACUPUNCTURE

Laser acupuncture combines the tried-and-tested treatment method of acupuncture and the most advanced developments in photomedicine to form a kind of therapy that has established a new, trendsetting standard in Western and Eastern medicine.

TCM lasers replace acupuncture needles with low-energy laser beams! The principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and hence also the acupuncture points, are the same. Stimulation with laser beams, however, constitutes a unique treatment method, as the modes of action of acupuncture and those of photobiomodulation with cold laser light complement each other superbly.

Acupuncture lasers – also called point lasers or laser pens – have been used since the beginnings of low-energy laser therapy (LLLT) to stimulate acupuncture points. Stimulation with a  therapy laser leads to physiological reactions that are comparable to those achieved with conventional stimulation methods (needle acupuncture, electroacupuncture, magnetic acupuncture, acupressure, etc.)

  Many patients find the stimulation of acupuncture points with needles unpleasant. Especially in the treatment of children, apprehensive patients, and animals, laserpuncture is often the preferred method.

  With laser acupuncture, acupuncture treatment that cannot be performed with needles or would be painful for the patient becomes an option.

• Flexible length of treatment
  Treatment times can be varied and adjusted to the individual situation – they may, for instance, also be drastically reduced.

• Precise diagnoses – especially in auricular acupuncture
  Point testing with an acupuncture laser is precise, clear, and simple. Points on the ear which are of special relevance for the therapy can be located very quickly.

• Laser therapy with frequencies
  Today low-level laser devices represent the only tools with which so-called frequencies can be applied in addition to acupuncture. They are called frequency lasers or resonance lasers.

• Ear acupuncture
  Low-level lasers have not merely accompanied the development of modern ear acupuncture from the beginning, they have in fact been its foundation in significant ways. Paul Nogier, the founder of Western “auricular medicine” (therapy via the auricle), employed laser pens as early as the 1970s. As ever more advanced laser pens were developed, he also gained more and more accurate diagnostic and therapeutic insights.

MKW LASERS ARE MODERN HIGH-TECH ACUPUNCTURE LASERS
